This is an all-in-one type high-precision linear gauge with a Φ20 body that integrates the signal processing unit. It outputs A/B phase pulse signals simply by supplying power. [MSK-EX Series] Intrinsically Safe Explosion-Proof High-Precision Linear Gauge

The sensor can be used in hazardous locations of Category 0. It is a high-precision linear gauge that does not require Type A grounding (Type 1 grounding).

The "intrinsically safe explosion-proof high-precision linear gauge" is a product that adopts a safety explosion-proof structure compliant with international standards. It utilizes a power transformer and phototransistor isolation method, eliminating the need for Type A grounding (first type grounding). The sensor can be used in zero-hazard locations, with a resolution of Min. 0.2μm and incremental output (A/B phase pulses). In terms of operating principle, the sensor contains a magnetized tape and a magnetoresistive element. The tape is magnetized at predetermined pitches with the N and S poles of the magnet. The changes in the magnetic field generated by this are precisely measured by the magnetoresistive element and converted into an analog voltage signal that varies in a sine and cosine manner. High-precision position detection is achieved through a converter within the SI that applies the vector-following principle (interpolator).
